                      Unwelcome Guest

The guests and visitors were welcomed in the past. As ours is a country where it was taught from the very beginning that a visitor is someone who bring luck to our house. But as the life today has become very costly, any type of guest is not welcomed now.

Last year in the school holiday, a distant uncle visited us. It was quite late at night when he knocked at the door of our house. We all were sleeping. Firstly I tried to ignore the call but he continued to knock at the door. I got up with anger to see who the foolish man is knocking at the door at this late hour. At the gate I saw a stranger, I asked him what is the matter and whom he wanted to meet and who he was. He told me that he belonged to the town of my father and his name was Ashok and he wanted to meet my father. I asked him to wait and informed my father about the man at the door. My father came out with me and welcomed him. All the members of the family woke up. But the man did not care for anybody. My mother had to prepare tea for him at that late hour. He told my mother that he was hungry as he had not taken the dinner. My mother started preparing dinner for him and most reluctantly I assisted her in preparing many items. After finishing the dinner, he continued to talk to my father. I went to my bed thinking what will happen the next morning; I will have to prepare breakfast for him. For how many days he will stay with us. He will disturb our all the programs, we have already chalked out, during the holidays. I didn’t know up to what time he was busy talking to my father. I hope he will get lost soon enough.

Dangerous at Home

Our home is usually our favorite place to spend time in. It should be safest place for humanity. However many accidents occur at home. There are dangerous things in the house and we should be aware of them. Thus we can avoid unnecessary pain or injury. The kitchen has many dangerous things. Sharp knives can draw blood, mishandled gas-cylinders can explode, hot water can scald and stoves can cause nasty burns. Flies and rats can contaminate food. Thus the kitchen is not a place to be careless in. If we are careful and know how to handle things there, then the chance of an accident occurring is lessened. The biggest danger in a bathroom is when the floor is slippery with water or soap. I have heard of many incidents of people, especially old folks, falling in the bathroom. Sometimes the fall is fatal. Often it leaves the victim bedridden. Utmost care is needed here. Finally the medicine cabinet should be inaccessible to young children. Dangerous drugs and pills can look like sweets to these young ones. If taken, the consequences can be disastrous. My opinion, we should make our house like “HOME”, not dangerous places.

Responsibilities of The Child To The Parents

It is the responsibilities of a child to look after parents when they get older and be there for them when needed, to pray five times a, fasting, respect older, obey older and pray Quran. Another responsibility is to show love and gratitude to our parents, speak to them with respect and kindness, and do anything that will make our parents happy. If parents give us chores, it is our responsibilities to do it. It is our responsibilities to clean up our own mess, help younger brother and sister, be polite and be a good role model for younger brother and sister.

If our parents and those elders want us to get something for them, it is our responsibilities to get it. If someone lends us something, it is ours responsibilities to use it with care and give a back in good condition. It is our responsibilities to behave, have good manners, and teach younger ones to do it too. Speak up if their parents are asking them to do things that don’t feel right .These is the responsibility of children to the parents.
The Ill Of Modern Cities
The most ill cities of modern cities are that the people in it are always in a hurry. Traffic jammed every morning, and everybody rush about in their activities .City folks that have lunch at home need to rush home. The perhaps they rush to have dinner or rush to a party. Finally in the early hours of the morning it is rush to, as they say ‘grab some sleep before the rush next morning’. The road are very busy to cross, everyone crowded near the traffic light. The moment the light changed to green for the pedestrians, they walk of like sprinters. I was forced to walk quickly too, otherwise it was likely to be trample on by the crowd.

What are the remedies for these ill of modern cities? It would see that nobody knows. Nobody seems to care to, which is another typical city illness. At the rate the cities are progressing, it certainly looks like they are headed for some sort of social disaster. Already the inner areas of same huge cities are experiencing a breakdown of law and order. The authorities simply cannot cope. There is not much an ordinary person can do to alleviate these ills. All he can do is to hope that they will go away, which seems very hopeless.

Boys prefer sports, Girls prefer clothes

Boys prefer sports, girls prefer clothes. Is it true? If we were to consider the young people say, fifty years ago the statement would be undeniably true. In those days, sports were a predominantly male pursuit. The girls were considering with the fairer sex and they were more concerned with how they look. Nowadays this statement is no longer true. There are as many games for girls as they are for boys. With the exception of some games like ‘futsal’ and badminton, girls participate in almost that boys play. In athletics we see girls performing just as well as the boys, some even better. Just like Datuk Nicol Ann David, born 26 August 1983. She is Malaysian female professional squash player. She is currently ranked world number 1 in women's squash, and is the first Asian woman to achieve this. She won the British Open title in 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2012, as well as the World Open title a record 7 times in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. There are actually many boys that prefer clothes that sports, ‘Wak Doyok’ is very good example. I bet most of you would have heard his name at least once recently, and if you haven’t, you would have probably seen his iconic mustache. If not, then you would have probably seen his pictures on Instagram, because you must be that 1 out of his 68,000 followers (and counting) on his Instagram account. He is Malaysia icon of fashion industry.

Race Against Time

As we know, time is gold. Things that happened cannot be undone. We are also does not need to race against time if we manage time efficiently. As a Muslim student, we need to divide time carefully. There is time to study, pray, eat, playing, sleep etc. It’s because to achieve the accurate target and get a flying colours in our result. The most important thing is we should not waste our precious time. If we have free time, do not use it to hang out with friends, we must use the time to do the benefit things such as study, making a revision, reading and more. Second, students also need to make a time table so that we could use the time correctly. Time can change everything, all people should know that. Students also can do a study group and change their opinion during their leisure time because it is the most effective ways of study. Finally, we should and need to use time in smart way, for a person who doesn’t know how to appreciate the valuable time, they are losers.
