Becoming an Adult

What is actually becoming an adult? I've thought a lot about this question again and again! Is being an adult coming to terms with what life is actually like a.k.a. being realistic or is it never giving up on your dreams a.k.a. being optimistic? When i was a little kid, i have many dream and some of them are I wanted to be a superman, spider-man and many heroic character in book or television. When I am in secondary school, I've noticed that when people speak of the mindset associated with "being an adult", they are referring to setting aside of childish ways. My dream was changed to becoming a scientist. I would like to improve technology in this world. Becoming an adult is slightly different for everyone. At age 18 some people, it means living on your own or going away to college. For others, it maybe starting your first real job and becoming financially independent. Some girls maybe getting married with their parent choice. Many of us very excited becoming an adult. An adult means freedom for teenagers and no one can control them. They can do whatever they want either it is good or bad because that is their life.  Actually, becoming and adult is not easy as ABC. There are responsibilities that we have to shoulder it on our book. Becoming and adult means we have to be more positive and open-minded. We have to think out of the box and clearly understand of our job. We also still have to hear advice from our parents and adult. We also have to think twice of what we are doing. Becoming an adults also mean we have to be more mature thus it will help us to gain more experience and challenges in the life of an adult. We also have to think of our future brightly and clearly as we are going to have a new family soon. No matter what the circumstances are, becoming an adult means taking responsibility for your life.
