                      Unwelcome Guest

The guests and visitors were welcomed in the past. As ours is a country where it was taught from the very beginning that a visitor is someone who bring luck to our house. But as the life today has become very costly, any type of guest is not welcomed now.

Last year in the school holiday, a distant uncle visited us. It was quite late at night when he knocked at the door of our house. We all were sleeping. Firstly I tried to ignore the call but he continued to knock at the door. I got up with anger to see who the foolish man is knocking at the door at this late hour. At the gate I saw a stranger, I asked him what is the matter and whom he wanted to meet and who he was. He told me that he belonged to the town of my father and his name was Ashok and he wanted to meet my father. I asked him to wait and informed my father about the man at the door. My father came out with me and welcomed him. All the members of the family woke up. But the man did not care for anybody. My mother had to prepare tea for him at that late hour. He told my mother that he was hungry as he had not taken the dinner. My mother started preparing dinner for him and most reluctantly I assisted her in preparing many items. After finishing the dinner, he continued to talk to my father. I went to my bed thinking what will happen the next morning; I will have to prepare breakfast for him. For how many days he will stay with us. He will disturb our all the programs, we have already chalked out, during the holidays. I didn’t know up to what time he was busy talking to my father. I hope he will get lost soon enough.

Dangerous at Home

Our home is usually our favorite place to spend time in. It should be safest place for humanity. However many accidents occur at home. There are dangerous things in the house and we should be aware of them. Thus we can avoid unnecessary pain or injury. The kitchen has many dangerous things. Sharp knives can draw blood, mishandled gas-cylinders can explode, hot water can scald and stoves can cause nasty burns. Flies and rats can contaminate food. Thus the kitchen is not a place to be careless in. If we are careful and know how to handle things there, then the chance of an accident occurring is lessened. The biggest danger in a bathroom is when the floor is slippery with water or soap. I have heard of many incidents of people, especially old folks, falling in the bathroom. Sometimes the fall is fatal. Often it leaves the victim bedridden. Utmost care is needed here. Finally the medicine cabinet should be inaccessible to young children. Dangerous drugs and pills can look like sweets to these young ones. If taken, the consequences can be disastrous. My opinion, we should make our house like “HOME”, not dangerous places.

Responsibilities of The Child To The Parents

It is the responsibilities of a child to look after parents when they get older and be there for them when needed, to pray five times a, fasting, respect older, obey older and pray Quran. Another responsibility is to show love and gratitude to our parents, speak to them with respect and kindness, and do anything that will make our parents happy. If parents give us chores, it is our responsibilities to do it. It is our responsibilities to clean up our own mess, help younger brother and sister, be polite and be a good role model for younger brother and sister.

If our parents and those elders want us to get something for them, it is our responsibilities to get it. If someone lends us something, it is ours responsibilities to use it with care and give a back in good condition. It is our responsibilities to behave, have good manners, and teach younger ones to do it too. Speak up if their parents are asking them to do things that don’t feel right .These is the responsibility of children to the parents.
The Ill Of Modern Cities
The most ill cities of modern cities are that the people in it are always in a hurry. Traffic jammed every morning, and everybody rush about in their activities .City folks that have lunch at home need to rush home. The perhaps they rush to have dinner or rush to a party. Finally in the early hours of the morning it is rush to, as they say ‘grab some sleep before the rush next morning’. The road are very busy to cross, everyone crowded near the traffic light. The moment the light changed to green for the pedestrians, they walk of like sprinters. I was forced to walk quickly too, otherwise it was likely to be trample on by the crowd.

What are the remedies for these ill of modern cities? It would see that nobody knows. Nobody seems to care to, which is another typical city illness. At the rate the cities are progressing, it certainly looks like they are headed for some sort of social disaster. Already the inner areas of same huge cities are experiencing a breakdown of law and order. The authorities simply cannot cope. There is not much an ordinary person can do to alleviate these ills. All he can do is to hope that they will go away, which seems very hopeless.

Boys prefer sports, Girls prefer clothes

Boys prefer sports, girls prefer clothes. Is it true? If we were to consider the young people say, fifty years ago the statement would be undeniably true. In those days, sports were a predominantly male pursuit. The girls were considering with the fairer sex and they were more concerned with how they look. Nowadays this statement is no longer true. There are as many games for girls as they are for boys. With the exception of some games like ‘futsal’ and badminton, girls participate in almost that boys play. In athletics we see girls performing just as well as the boys, some even better. Just like Datuk Nicol Ann David, born 26 August 1983. She is Malaysian female professional squash player. She is currently ranked world number 1 in women's squash, and is the first Asian woman to achieve this. She won the British Open title in 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2012, as well as the World Open title a record 7 times in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. There are actually many boys that prefer clothes that sports, ‘Wak Doyok’ is very good example. I bet most of you would have heard his name at least once recently, and if you haven’t, you would have probably seen his iconic mustache. If not, then you would have probably seen his pictures on Instagram, because you must be that 1 out of his 68,000 followers (and counting) on his Instagram account. He is Malaysia icon of fashion industry.

Race Against Time

As we know, time is gold. Things that happened cannot be undone. We are also does not need to race against time if we manage time efficiently. As a Muslim student, we need to divide time carefully. There is time to study, pray, eat, playing, sleep etc. It’s because to achieve the accurate target and get a flying colours in our result. The most important thing is we should not waste our precious time. If we have free time, do not use it to hang out with friends, we must use the time to do the benefit things such as study, making a revision, reading and more. Second, students also need to make a time table so that we could use the time correctly. Time can change everything, all people should know that. Students also can do a study group and change their opinion during their leisure time because it is the most effective ways of study. Finally, we should and need to use time in smart way, for a person who doesn’t know how to appreciate the valuable time, they are losers.

Honesty Pays in the End

Honesty refer to moral value that available to everyone should have because it will make people trust you. It also includes straightforwardness along with absent of lying, cheating, theft etc. For example, his name is Syafiq, he is 12 years old.
One day he is walking home from school. While walking he was a wallet and pick it up. There is a lot of money, he was thinking what to do with that money. He does not know that it’s not good to spend the money because it does not belong to him. He walking to a toy shop and thinking to buy an expensive remote control car. When he is about to pay the money, he saw a picture of the wallet owner. Then he remembers that the owner is also in the shop looking for toys too. Suddenly, he flashed back what his mother says “If Syafiq found something, return it to the owner. He cancels to buy it and return it to the owner. The owner was very happy because he find back his wallet and there is no money missing. He asked the kid, what he wants to buy if he had this money in this wallet. Syafiq said he want that remote control cars. The owner buys that toy for Syafiq as a gift, and Syafiq was happy.

     Slave of Fashion

Slave of fashion mean a person who is particularly concerned that his or her clothing and physical appearance conform to the current, accepted style. It means someone who is extremely fashion conscious regardless of whether it suits them or not. They're too concerned with what's in fashion to think about what looks good or not.

It is true that young people are quick to follow anything around the world which appears. It is impossible to control the coming of fashion from other countries. Television, Internet, books and magazines are example of social network that discovered fashion. More often, the influence of the friend and the need to be up-to-date with fashion has no bad result and sometimes, the influence can even be good.

For a Muslim, women have to wear a hijab and for this era, many style of hijab for Muslim women are design. Many people are wearing a stylish hijab even though some hijab are forbidden by “ulama” in Islam. This is bad for women because they will be punishing by Allah in afterlife. They are many of fashion thing that bad for a Muslim women. However, for man maybe fashion are not to extreme. They are forbidden to use women clothing, wearing a short pants, coloring cut some of their hair “Qaza”.

Muslim should not follow fashion if it is bad for our religion.

                  What makes a happy life?

Everyone wish to have a happy life. But not a single two person people want the same thing. Some people want bigger houses, luxury cars, and expensive accessory. But some people may want a happy family. It shows us that people are not the same! What are we desire may not for everyone.
If it’s for me, I’m very happy when I got higher mark in examination. Next is being together with my family, doing same activities together. Maybe hanging out with friends, going to plays futsal together, riding bicycle together, and also eat together. Not to be forgetting, being health also make happy life.
After that, we need to Practice Smiling, smiling can make us feel better, but it's more effective when we back it up with positive thoughts. By smiling, it wills reduce pain, improve our mood and making us thinking better.
Last but not least, everybody should make a happy life because it is very important to affect their health. Spend more time with friends and family because money can't buy you happiness.

    Health Is Wealth

Health is Wealth! Are you agree about this? Well in the life of a human being health is important. By health it does not mean the absence of physical troubles only, it is also including physical mental. If we are sick it’s mean we loss of all happiness.
Good health are depends on several things. Fresh air and sunlight are very important for our health. A dirty air causes lots of diseases. A morning walk is very useful for health. Fresh and pure drinking water is also necessary for good health. Drinking impure water will cause several diseases. So, we must take care of these things.
Food is another necessary thing for the body. We all should know how, when and what to eat. A balanced diet helps the proper growth of the body. But we must remember that we eat to live and not that we live to eat. In Mexico, over eating causes a large number of fat people. If we eat less, we may live more.
In order to keep the body healthy, we exercises to keep us fit. There are different kinds of physical exercises. We may walk a kilometer or two every day. We may take some “poco-poco”. At the same time, games and sports are very useful for health.
Mahatma Gandhi also says, “It is health which is real wealth, and not pieces of gold and silver”.

Modern Invention Making Us Lazy

In this modern day, many inventions have made our lives easy and comfortable but this also making us lazy. We always use machine and stop using body and brain. Computers, calculators and internet are sources of great help but we are totally depending on these inventions. For example, even if we have to add a few numbers or do a small calculation we take out and use our calculator rather than use our brain. Our parents maybe can solve such problems in a jiffy without using a calculator. We should try to solve our mathematical problems without using calculators this makes our mind sharp. Sitting on a chair for many hours in front of the computer will make us fat, unhealthy, and weaken eyesight. We say that sunlight and fresh air are very important for a plant to grow well. This also apply on human, we need sunlight for our body. Children prefer to play computer and video games instead of playing outdoors, his is also not good for their health. It is said that walking is the best exercise, but nowadays we prefer to use the car even if to go somewhere nearest. We should not use car but walking. This will help us keep fit and our body slim. It will also give us a chance to enjoy nature of our earth. Therefore, we should try to do as much work as we can ourselves without the relying on machine always.

The Black Sheep In Your Family

Black sheep of the family is a person who has done something bad which brings embarrassment or disrespect to their family. When families gather around the holiday table for the traditional feast, there is traditionally one person who is conspicuous by either absence or presence. Male or female, rich or poor, married or single, young or old, teetotaller or alcoholic - this person is often the object of ridicule, pity, envy, awe, fear, scorn, embarrassment or secret admiration, for as the proverb goes: ''There is a black sheep in every fold.'' Yet, the black sheep is an important if often unwelcome guest. Example, Naqiu was different from his brother. He was not clever like his brother. He also lack in any sport unlike his brother who was a sportsman. He was just a normal kid but his parents put a high expectation on him to be like his brother. At last, I want to advice everyone not to give up your dreams. Face the ups and downs of your life bravely and remember, everyone came to this world with their own talents. So, trust and be confident in yourselves. Succeed then is in your hand."

Becoming an Adult

What is actually becoming an adult? I've thought a lot about this question again and again! Is being an adult coming to terms with what life is actually like a.k.a. being realistic or is it never giving up on your dreams a.k.a. being optimistic? When i was a little kid, i have many dream and some of them are I wanted to be a superman, spider-man and many heroic character in book or television. When I am in secondary school, I've noticed that when people speak of the mindset associated with "being an adult", they are referring to setting aside of childish ways. My dream was changed to becoming a scientist. I would like to improve technology in this world. Becoming an adult is slightly different for everyone. At age 18 some people, it means living on your own or going away to college. For others, it maybe starting your first real job and becoming financially independent. Some girls maybe getting married with their parent choice. Many of us very excited becoming an adult. An adult means freedom for teenagers and no one can control them. They can do whatever they want either it is good or bad because that is their life.  Actually, becoming and adult is not easy as ABC. There are responsibilities that we have to shoulder it on our book. Becoming and adult means we have to be more positive and open-minded. We have to think out of the box and clearly understand of our job. We also still have to hear advice from our parents and adult. We also have to think twice of what we are doing. Becoming an adults also mean we have to be more mature thus it will help us to gain more experience and challenges in the life of an adult. We also have to think of our future brightly and clearly as we are going to have a new family soon. No matter what the circumstances are, becoming an adult means taking responsibility for your life.
